WeWOOD frames are made mainly of natural cotton fiber and wood pulp. Driven by our global resources conservation policy, this unique solution allows us to create frames using sustainable materials while minimizing or eliminating the impact on the eco-system. Our products are made with the intention to preserve the environment and spread sustainable awareness around the world. We make it our mission to conserve natural resources while using a mostly handmade production process, creating products as unique as our natural environment.
Improving safety, comfort and performance, WeWOOD Polarized lenses filter out 99% of reflected glare without the haze and optical distortion that can come with polarized lenses made with conventional manufacturing techniques
A few of our lenses are designed by the German modern optics and manufacturing company, Zeiss. Well known for their lenses in various industries, the marriage of Zeiss lenses and WeWOOD italian designed frames ensure that our eyewear provides top quality protection for your eyes.
Our tree planting story
You buy a watch, we plant a tree
WeWOOD collaborates with Trees For The Future, Treedom and American Forests to plant a tree for every timepiece purchased. Our Goal is to help restore Mother Nature, one watch at a time, by planting a tree for every watch. Since 2011, WeWOOD has planted over 420,000 trees with its partners and sets challenging target for 2016 and beyond. One such challenge is our goal of planting 1 million tree by 2020. Keeping forests healthy and happy keeps us healthy and happy, and we like to keep this reminder on our wrists.
